LAKELAND POLICE DEPARTMENT

The department utilizes Neighborhood Liaison Officers (NLO) who provide vital links with the community. The NLO's attend community meetings and gatherings, address concerns and develop intelligence from the community. NLOs have available to them a variety of tactics and tools to assist the community in solving crimes and problems. The NLO are encouraged to conduct investigations and spend a majority of their time actively engaged in their assigned neighborhoods.
